TRT Serving Henderson: Testosterone Replacement Therapy

Henderson men can start testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) with a board-certified MD at our clinic on Eastern Avenue, about 10 minutes from Green Valley, Anthem and Seven Hills, or by Nevada telehealth. A hormone panel comes first. Dr. Charles Kamen, MD prescribes testosterone only when bloodwork confirms clinically low levels and your symptoms fit, and sometimes the answer is no. The $88 evaluation is the first step.

Testosterone therapy for Henderson patients

TRT is the medically supervised use of testosterone for men whose bloodwork confirms clinically low levels and whose symptoms fit: fatigue, low libido, loss of muscle, low mood. Those symptoms have many causes, and low testosterone is only one of them, so the evaluation also looks for other explanations before anything is prescribed.

Low testosterone is confirmed with two separate early-morning, fasting total testosterone tests, because levels swing through the day. The American Urological Association uses 300 ng/dL as a reasonable cut-off, and symptoms have to fit too. The panel usually adds free testosterone, LH and FSH, a blood count for hematocrit, and PSA for men who fit prostate cancer screening. Dr. Kamen sets the exact panel at the evaluation.

What to weigh before starting TRT

TRT is a long-term medical therapy with real trade-offs. It suppresses the body's own testosterone production and can affect fertility, which matters if you want children. It can raise red blood cell counts, so hematocrit is followed during treatment. Testosterone products can also raise blood pressure, and the FDA requires a class-wide blood pressure warning. Some men are not candidates at all. These risks are discussed before any prescription.

How Henderson patients start, in four steps

  • Book the $88 evaluation. Book online or call 702-808-2650. The fee is credited toward care if you continue.
  • Labs and evaluation. In person at the Eastern Avenue clinic or by Nevada telehealth. Dr. Kamen reviews your symptoms, history and medications alongside the morning hormone panel.
  • Start only if it fits. If the labs and clinical picture support TRT, dosing is individualized and a licensed U.S. pharmacy dispenses the medication at pass-through cost. If they don't, you hear that at the evaluation, along with what to investigate instead.
  • Follow-up labs. Testosterone is rechecked early to confirm the dose lands in range, and hematocrit is followed during treatment. Some men notice changes in energy or mood within several weeks; body composition changes over months. Individual response varies.

What TRT costs

The $88 evaluation is the one price we publish, and it is credited toward care if you continue. Ongoing physician management and medication are separate charges; laboratory testing is included in the management fee, and medication cost depends on the formulation, dose and pharmacy. The $88 is not a monthly TRT price or an all-inclusive program price. LiveNow Longevity is a cash-pay practice and does not bill insurance. Before you enroll, ask for an itemized estimate for the first 90 days and review renewal and cancellation terms. Our cost guide explains the no-markup model.

TRT for Henderson patients: FAQ

Where can I get TRT near Henderson?

At LiveNow Longevity, 9975 S Eastern Ave Ste 130, Las Vegas, NV 89183, about 10 minutes from Green Valley, Anthem, Seven Hills and Inspirada via St. Rose Parkway or I-215. Dr. Charles Kamen, MD reviews your symptoms, history and hormone panel first and prescribes testosterone only when the labs and the clinical picture both support it. Nevada residents can also start by telehealth.

Do I need blood tests before TRT?

Yes. Low testosterone is confirmed with two separate early-morning, fasting total testosterone tests before any prescription, usually with free testosterone, LH and FSH, a blood count and, for men who fit prostate cancer screening, PSA. One low reading is not a diagnosis, and we do not prescribe testosterone without labs.

Can Henderson patients do TRT by telehealth?

Yes. Nevada residents can complete the evaluation and follow-up visits by secure telehealth, with labs drawn at a location near you. Some situations require an in-person exam at the Eastern Avenue clinic.

How much does TRT cost for Henderson patients?

The physician evaluation is $88 and is credited toward care if you continue. Ongoing management and medication are separate charges; laboratory testing is included in the management fee, and medication cost depends on the formulation, dose and pharmacy. The $88 is not a monthly TRT price. Ask for an itemized first-90-day estimate and review renewal and cancellation terms before enrolling.

What are the risks of testosterone therapy?

TRT suppresses your own testosterone production and can affect fertility. It can raise red blood cell counts, so hematocrit is monitored, and testosterone products carry an FDA class-wide blood pressure warning. Some men are not candidates at all. These risks are reviewed at the evaluation, before any prescription.

Do you offer hormone therapy for women in Henderson?

Yes. TRT is one form of hormone replacement therapy. The broader hormone program evaluates thyroid and other hormones that affect energy, body composition, mood and sleep, for men and women, and it always starts with a hormone panel.
